Mettra combines product research, analytics, finance, and AI for Amazon sellers

Built from the experience of 1,000+ Amazon sellers
One question in, a launch decision out: 10 candidates checked, two years of history on each, 5 price points, 2 listing audits and a 36-month cash forecast. 29 tool calls, inside the AI app you already have open.
Helium 10 opens its MCP on a $179-a-month plan. Mettra adds it to any plan for $10.83 a month. See how 8 vendors compare ↓
Requires an active paid plan. MCP add-on from $13/mo for a pack of 50 tool calls.
Set up and run by us against the production server: Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor. ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Codex take the same config — we have not tested them ourselves.
MCP is simply a way for an AI app — Claude, Claude Code, Cursor — to ask Mettra a question and get a real answer back, instead of you copy-pasting numbers into the chat yourself. You paste one key, once.
One question, two tool calls, an answer you can act on. Run against https://api.mettra.app/api/v1/mcp on 1 September 2026.
“How has this ASIN performed over the last two years, and is the listing any good?”
Tools used: GetHistoricalData, AuditCopilot
Over 730 days the price held around $158.94 on average — it dipped to $122.31 and peaked at $179.88, so discounting has been shallow and rare.
Reviews grew from 14 to 271 in that window while the rank stayed in the same band, which reads as steady demand rather than a spike.
The listing scores 68 out of 100. The images carry the product well, but the bullets repeat the title and the A+ block never answers the objection that shows up in the review tags.

What one pack of 50 buys you
A full product investigation: 29 calls of 50.
Across the Amazon MCP tools we surveyed in August 2026, access was either bundled into a top-tier plan costing several hundred dollars a month, or sold in packs starting around $39. No free tier here and no waitlist — but you can watch it work above before you pay.
$39.83/mo
Entry plan $29.00/mo + MCP add-on $10.83/mo when billed yearly. Both are required. Pro and Corporate combinations cost more.

Have an active paid plan
Any paid Mettra plan works. The entry plan is $49 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly.

Generate your key in your profile
The full key is shown once. Mettra stores only a hash of it — keep your copy somewhere safe.

Some connect to your seller account. Mettra connects to the market. That single difference decides what you have to authorise and what an assistant could ever change.
Six of these eight platforms already ship an MCP server. What sets them apart is what you pay to get in, what the assistant actually sees — and whether it needs the keys to your Amazon account. Read off each vendor's own pricing page on 2 September 2026.

No. Mettra MCP reads market data — public listings, history, search results — and runs calculations. There is no Seller Central connection to make, no OAuth screen and no permission to grant on Amazon's side.
No. The server exposes nine read-and-calculate tools. None of them writes to Amazon. The only thing an assistant can change is the product tracker inside your own Mettra workspace.
The MCP add-on is $13 a month for a pack of 50 tool calls, or $130 a year. It needs an active paid Mettra plan, which starts at $49 a month, so the minimum is $62 a month in total — or $39.83 a month billed yearly. You can add as many packs as you need.
Calls stop until you add another pack or your billing period rolls over. One request equals one tool call, and failed calls are not charged. Listing audits and keyword research also draw on the audit quota that comes with your plan.
Any client that speaks the Streamable HTTP transport. We have run Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor against the production server ourselves; other clients use the same configuration block, we simply have not tested them.
The key is 32 random bytes behind an mcp_ prefix. Mettra stores only its SHA-256 hash, so the full value is shown to you exactly once. Revoking it from your profile takes effect immediately and ends any live session.
No. Setup is copying one block of text into your AI app and restarting it. After that you ask questions in plain English and the assistant decides which tools to call.
North America and Europe: amazon.com, amazon.ca and amazon.com.mx, plus amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.es, amazon.nl, amazon.se and amazon.pl. Ask about an ASIN on any of them and the tools answer the same way.
No — tools only, nine of them. If your client shows empty resource and prompt lists, that is expected and not a configuration error.
